FOR PUBLIC EMPLOYERS ONLY: Public employer, except law enforcement, may not inquire about a criminal record until after it has determined the applicant meets minimum employment qualifications. "Public employer" includes all state, county, and city employees.
This is per 2014 legislation (2014 LB 907, AM 2376) signed by the Governor on April 16, 2014. The statute is NRS 48-202.
